HostingSift is a web hosting comparison platform that helps users research, compare, and choose hosting providers. We provide:
User Accounts
Account Creation
You may create an account to access features like submitting reviews and saving comparisons. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account.
Restrictions
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
User-Generated Content
Reviews & Ratings
By submitting a review or rating, you agree that:
- Your review is based on genuine, first-hand experience
- You have not been compensated by a third party
- It does not contain false, misleading, or defamatory information
- You grant HostingSift a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute it
Content Removal
We may moderate, edit, or remove reviews at our discretion. If you believe content infringes your rights, email [email protected] — we will respond within 14 business days.
Intellectual Property
The HostingSift name, logo, website design, and all original content are our intellectual property. You may not:
Prohibited Activities
Third-Party Links & Services
HostingSift contains links to third-party websites (hosting providers, payment processors, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. Your interactions with hosting providers are governed by their own terms and policies.
Disclaimer of Warranties
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of hosting provider information. Data may not reflect real-time changes. Always verify pricing and features directly with the provider before purchasing.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HostingSift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from: use or inability to use the service, unauthorized account access, or inaccurate hosting information.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, if any.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HostingSift and its owners, operators, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the website at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sofia, Bulgaria.
Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, it shall be limited to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions remain in full force.
